FISH WITH A WINNER
BLUE WATER CLASSIC SALMON TOURNAMENT CHAMPION
The Only Two - Time Winner, $10,000 First Place
The BIGFISH crew is the first and only two-time winner (1998 and 2001) of Lake Huron's most prominent spring Salmon tournament, The Blue Water Classic. The tournament is held each spring on lower Lake Huron with some 160 boats participating, including many of Michigan's best charter captains and recreational fisherman. In addition to the two wins, the BIGFISH crew has several other Blue Water Classic and Harbor Beach FISH-ON tournament top 10 finishes.

SPRING
- LOWER LAKE HURON
The spring season starts mid April and runs through early June. We start fishing in Lexington and move north with the fish as the water temperatures rise. Our catches normally consist of Kings, Cohos, Steelhead, Lake Trout and possibly a few Browns, with the largest fish usually in the 15 to 20 lb range.
SUMMER - LAKE HURON
The summer season starts mid June and runs through August. The northwest part of Lake Huron, the Rogers City, and Presque Isle area, is noted for the large numbers of fish planted and the really big fish caught. Catches consist of Kings, Cohos, Steelhead, Lake Trout and Browns, with the largest fish in the 30 lb range.
